late summer vacation at the beach!

The week started with a lot of packing, un-packing, loading, un-loading - of luggage and Schumers....

We picked up John along the way, and then Mel. We spent one day in Washington, D.C., then off to the beach!

Did I mention that we ran out of gas on our 13 hour drive home??
