Our Father...
Aidan was in my den this afternoon and after examining the books on the shelves, chose the Holy Bible. He had quite an excited look on his face, because it's the same book that Mrs. Scheurer uses in religion class. It was then that I pointed out the gold embossed, "D. James Schumer" on the cover. He was even more pleased at that - he went up to my Mom and said, "Look at this book, Grandma!" My Mom noted the Bible, and smiled and nodded. Then Aidan added, "And LOOK," pointing at the cover, "LOOK who wrote it!"

What a precious story. Please let me know how long it takes him to realize who truly is the author of the Holy Scriptures. Knowing Aiden, I wouldn't put it passed him to announce to his class that his Dad wrote the Bible. There should be a national forum where you can get this published as well. The "Out of the mouths of Little ones" sort of place. Thanks for sharing it.
