Today was Aidan's first day of school. He's been waffling back and forth between excitement and dread for the past few weeks. Things have been a little (a lot) crazy around here, so it's good for him to get into a routine again. His babysitter took him today in her car that was, "cool - just like a Ferrari!" (a '95 Nissan Sentra). I waited until they were at the end of the drive to cry. At the end of the day, Aidan came home raving about how much he loved school, and how he loves Mrs. Hoffer so much. Life is fleeting.
